The Arc of Volusia is governed by a 25 member Board of Directors which includes parents, a client advocate, and area community leaders.  Each board member also participates in one of the following committees:  Advocacy, Community Relations, Contracts, Finance, Governance, Personnel and Planning.

The Executive Committee of the Board is represented by Dr. James L. Greene, Chairman; Rachael Joye, Chair Elect/Vice Chair; Kellie Nielan, Immediate Past Chair/Vice Chair; Dr. Willie Kimmons, Vice Chair; Michael Sibley, CPA, Treasurer; Audrie Harris, Secretary; and Deborah Quackenbush, At-Large.

Directors include Teresa Apgar, Tom Besaw, Ray Briggs, K. Eugene Gabriel,  Bradley Gordner, Robert Grubba, Sue Hale, Jean Hitt, Margie Kaczynski, Adam Kennedy, John J. Meyer III, Richard Rice, Preston Root, Kathy Slade, Dr. C. Lawrence Slade M.D., Pauline Stewart, Tracey Stewart.

The Executive Committee meets the first Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m.
