Raising awareness one step at a time.

This October 2011 will mark The Arc of Volusia’s tenth annual Buddy Walk.  Held in conjunction with the National Down Syndrome Society’s Buddy Walk, the primary purpose of the event is to raise public awareness of developmental disabilities and the services we provide.  This years Buddy Walk is scheduled for October 29, 2011.

The event is held in downtown DeLand with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the one-mile walk starting at 10:30 a.m.  The morning is filled with music, entertainment, door prizes, and lunch is provided.
